Laval's Laurier Senior High School, of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board, is extending a unique educational opportunity to its students to study the Italian language.
Although the school did offer Italian in the 1970s when it was known as Laval Catholic High School, it has been more than 25 years since the opportunity to learn italian language other than French or English was last offered to the student clientele.
In this latest revival of the teaching and learning of Italian, classes will focus on a comprehensive approach that will enable students to read, write, and speak the language while simultaneously gaining knowledge of Italian culture and history.
